ODI First-Year Student Kickoff

Program Overview

The ODI Kick-Off welcomes incoming first-year students to attend a two-day event to get settled on campus and make new connections and friendships before the Fall semester begins! This program is a parternship between the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and the American Indian Learning Resource Center. 

Attendees will be able to move-in early at no cost to attend the program. 

Program Cost: FREE. Spots are limited. 

Attendees of the ODI Kick-off will: 

  • Learn about resources and services relevant to students of color, Indigenous students, and LGBTQ+ students
  • Connect with academic and social support on campus such as counseling and health services, academic writng and learning center, financial aid, career services, and more
  • Get insight from current students about getting invovled, the best place to study on campus, and how to get the most out of your college experience
  • Explore scenic spots around Duluth including Enger Tower, Canal Park and the beach on Lake Superior
