
Program Overview
The ODI Kick-Off welcomes incoming first-year students to attend a two-day event to get settled on campus and make new connections and friendships before the Fall semester begins! This program is a parternship between the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and the American Indian Learning Resource Center.
Attendees will be able to move-in early at no cost to attend the program.
Program Cost: FREE. Spots are limited.
Attendees of the ODI Kick-off will:
- Learn about resources and services relevant to students of color, Indigenous students, and LGBTQ+ students
- Connect with academic and social support on campus such as counseling and health services, academic writng and learning center, financial aid, career services, and more
- Get insight from current students about getting invovled, the best place to study on campus, and how to get the most out of your college experience
Explore scenic spots around Duluth including Enger Tower, Canal Park and the beach on Lake Superior
